IPL Live Streaming: Hot Pick- ups for Pace bowlers in Indian Premier League auction 2017
England’s Tymal Mills and South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada have hit the jackpot with excellent deals in the 10th edition of IPL 2017. On Monday, the franchises are ready with the bidding war. Although fast bowler was clearly in great demand it was no of Suprise they both were picked up. Royal Challengers Bangalore went all out for Mills and found the clear replacement of Australia spearheads Mitchell Starc who left RCB. Tymal Mills bought an amount of 12 crores 22 times with the base price of Rs 50 lakh.
Delhi Daredevils loaded themselves with two pacer SA pace sensation, Kagiso Rabada, and Australia’s Patrick Cummins with Rs 5 crore and Rs 4.5 crore respectively. On another hand, New Zealand pacer Trent Boult snapped up with Rs 5 crore by Kolkata Knight Riders.
Rajasthan left-arm seamer Aniket Choudhary, who was called up by India to prepare for Mitchell Starc, was bought for Rs 2 crore with base price Rs. 10 lakh by Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Kings XI Punjab picked up left-arm pacer T Natarajan for Rs 3 Crore, who played well and impressed in Ranji Trophy.
Gujarat Lions bought Basil Thampi, Kerala pacer with a base price of Rs 10 Lakh to Rs 85 Lakh in a team.
The former Australia pacer Mitchell Johnson to has been picked up with the base price of Rs 2 Crore, the Mumbai Indians were the only bidders who shown interest.
At the first round of bidding, Ishant Sharma pacer from India was not too lucky to be picked by any of the bidders, the reason may be the base price of Rs 2 crores, which make the bidders think twice. although he is looking good in Test matches and in good form, hope to be picked up in second bidding round.
