The 19 years old Rashid Khan is very excited to play for IPL auction 2017. One of the reasons he can’t wait for IPL to start is sharing the dressing room with his childhood cricket hero Yuvraj Singh.


It was more than a big deal that Afgan players were picked up in this IPL. The last three months was awesome for leg-spinner Rashid Khan with Mohammad Nabi who becomes the first among equals from the war-torn nation. It was very enjoyable for Rashid who is currently playing against Ireland at Afganistan.

Rashid Khan said it was unbelievable for me sharing the dressing room with big names likes Yuvraj, David Warner, Kane Williamson and Shikhar Dhawan whom I used to see in television in my childhood times. He also added that IPL is biggest league in the world, bigger than any other cricket associate and to be the part of it is amazing. Although IPL is the peak at April 5th, Rashid started working harder for the tournament to go smooth from his side.

Ready to share his unbelievable experience sharing dressing room with cricket superheroes, Rashid said that he really likes the aggressive style of Yuvraj when he plays. Though playing in IPL he is excited to spend time with Yuvi and getting more knowledge of cricket play. It is also special for him getting the support of players like Tom Moody, VVS Laxman, and Multan Muralitharan. Rashid Khan is already in media for getting Rs 4 crores prepay in IPL auction 2017.

Early in this month both Afgan players Rashid and Mohammad Nabi picked up for USD 60000 and 90000 in CPL auction, their Rashid comes up with brilliant performance taking out fine wickets in 9 balls in T20 match held in the Caribbean played against Ireland. Later on, he figures of 6 for 43 in ODI played against the same team. The leg spinner with his googly bowling and quick wickets now being compared to Pakistan star Shahid Afridi. But when asked who is his favorite player the answer was MS Dhoni.

Still playing the non-stop cricket tournament, Rashid may increase batsman difficulties in ground. Hope he plays well get the good push up for his starting career in the 10th edition of IPL 2017.
