Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell New Captain for Kings XI Punjab
New face for Kings XI Punjab captaincy. The right- handed Austrailian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell will lead Kings XI Punjab for 10th IPL edition. The franchise has announced on its Twitter handle about Maxwell to be selected as next captain for IPL 2017 going to be start on 5th of April.
Over the last season, Murali Vijay was holding capatancy position. He came in midway of the tournament when David Miller was dismissed as skipper for his distressful performance. The change of capacitance does not effect the the performance of the team, they end up with a second succcessive season.
Glenn James Maxwell is an Australian cricketer who plays One Day International and Twenty 20 International matches for Australia.In this IPL 2017, he has replaced Vijay the last season captain, Eoin Morgan who captained England to 2016 World cup final and also Darren Sammy, the captain of West Indies for two World T20 titles.
